SERVICE GROUPS IN ST JOSEPH'S PARISH

Knights of Columbus Contact:

Fred Swaffer ➢ Social and service group for Catholic men providing educational and charitable works for the parish community. Meets on first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

St. Joseph Vineyard & Sacramental Wine Ministry Contact: Rick Aaron ➢ To maintain the church vineyard at St. Joseph and to grow & harvest the wine grapes with trained disciples (volunteers) from, but not limited to the five local Catholic parishes. To provide sacramental (altar) wines and private label wines to the Northern Michigan Catholic parishes and community.

St. Joseph’s Women’s Guild Contact: Pam Klumpp ➢ Social and service group for women of the Parish. Meets on first Monday of the month in parish hall during the school year at 7:00 p.m. for prayer, business meeting, and refreshments. The Women’s Guild is responsible for coordinating a lunch after a Funeral, if requested by the family.

Quilting Ministry Contact: Peggy Kane ➢ To promote an interest in and appreciation of the art of quilt making, sharing of quilting information and education, and charitable works with and for members of the community at large.

Name Tag Weekend Contact: Stewardship, Scott Coggon➢ We are a welcoming Parish! The last weekend of every month is designated “Name Tag Weekend” where parishioners are asked to wear a name tag to meet those who sit around them. Disciples are needed to ask those entering Mass to fill out a name tag. This opportunity only takes ½ hour before Mass.

Coffee & Donuts Contact: Anne Mann & Liz Carney ➢ Offer hospitality and foster community by helping make and serve coffee and treats after Sunday Masses.

THAT MAN IS YOU (TMIY) Contact: David Mann ➢ A vibrant men's group which meets every Saturday morning during the school year, to have breakfast, great community and formation, bringing forth the strong leader and moral instinct in men of the Catholic Faith.
